Today’s ensemble is in line with previous posts regarding suit separates. This time I’m focusing on similar tones and materials in anticipation of the spring and summer months. There’s a definite summertime feel with this outfit due to the choice of lighter colors and fabrics. Also featured here is a custom made boutonnière (made by myself of course) in the shape of a military-esque ribbon with a crystal brooch, which was given to me by my wife, @edytaphoto. I’ll post a bit more about that later.
I was excited to work with Lisa Shaffer, creator and designer of Zelma Rose .Not only does she make beautifully handcrafted bow ties, but she also makes jewelry, lockets, and pocket squares. I picked out two bow ties from her to style for my blog. Everyone knows I’m a big fan of polka dot print, so styling this one was a no-brainer. I approached this bow tie thinking of spring and how colorful it can be. Be sure to check out her shop and follow her. What do you guys think of the post?
